DevEnglish の使い方

How to use DevEnglish

オンボーディングから Review まで、主要フローをこのページで確認できます。

This guide covers the main flow from onboarding to review.

1. 最初に確認すること

  1. Settings で CEFR レベルと語彙レベル範囲を選びます。
  2. 通知を使いたい場合は、通知をオンにして時刻を設定します。
  3. 「同期」で iCloud ログイン状態と CloudKit 利用可否を確認します。
  4. Apple Intelligence を使う場合は、利用ポリシーを確認したうえで利用同意をオンにします。

2. Today で Pack を生成する

Today では、その日のおすすめテーマと、技術トピック・定期イベントの候補が表示されます。気になるテーマを選び、「このテーマでPackを生成」を実行すると、1つの具体的な業務シナリオに基づく学習 Pack が作成されます。

3. Pack を学習する

  • 教材本文を読みます。必要に応じて日本語訳表示や読み上げを使えます。
  • 理解問題では、本文の要点や次のアクションを短く確認します。
  • Roleplay では、自分の言葉で返答を書きます。
  • 保存後、Pack の進捗状況が Today や Progress に反映されます。

4. Roleplay の使い方

  • Turn 2 / Turn 4 の入力欄に英語で回答します。
  • 「英語音声入力」を押すと、端末の言語設定に関係なく英語として認識します。
  • 「英語をレビュー」を押すと、入力した自分の英文そのものを Apple Intelligence が評価します。
  • 模範回答は、まず自分で書いた後に必要に応じて開いて比較できます。

5. Review の進め方

Pack の重要文は chunk として保存され、Review 画面に出題されます。Again / Hard / Good / Easy で評価し、重要表現を時間差で定着させていきます。

6. History と Progress

History では過去の Pack を振り返り、Progress では完了数や復習数を確認できます。継続状況を見ながらトピック選びや復習量を調整してください。

7. データ管理

  • Settings から全データ書き出しができます。形式は JSON です。
  • Settings から全学習データ削除もできます。
  • 同期は iCloud / CloudKit が使える場合に限られ、使えない時は端末内保存に切り替わります。

8. トラブルシューティング

  • 生成やレビューが動かない場合は、Apple Intelligence の対応状況を確認してください。
  • 音声入力が失敗する場合は、マイクと音声認識の権限を確認してください。
  • 同期が動かない場合は、Settings の iCloud / CloudKit 状態表示を確認してください。
  • 詳細は Support ページも参照してください。

1. Before you start

  1. Choose your CEFR level and vocabulary range in Settings.
  2. If you want reminders, enable notifications and choose a time.
  3. Check the iCloud sign-in state and CloudKit availability in the sync section.
  4. If you want AI features, review the policy and enable Apple Intelligence usage.

2. Generate a pack from Today

The Today screen shows a recommended scenario and selectable topic lanes for technical topics and recurring events. Choose a topic and generate a study pack built around one concrete workplace situation.

3. Study a pack

  • Read the material first. Optional translation and read-aloud are available when supported.
  • Use the comprehension questions to confirm the core ideas and next steps.
  • Write your own response in Roleplay.
  • Once saved, your progress appears in Today and Progress.

4. Using Roleplay

  • Answer in English in Turn 2 and Turn 4.
  • Tap English voice input to dictate; it is recognized as English regardless of the device language setting.
  • Tap Review English to have Apple Intelligence evaluate the exact text you entered.
  • Model answers stay available for comparison after you first try answering yourself.

5. Working through Review

Important lines from each pack are saved as review chunks. Rate them with Again, Hard, Good, and Easy to repeat useful expressions over time.

6. History and Progress

History helps you revisit previous packs, while Progress helps you monitor completed packs and review activity so you can adjust your routine.

7. Data management

  • You can export all study data as JSON from Settings.
  • You can delete all study data from Settings.
  • Sync is available only when iCloud / CloudKit is available; otherwise the app falls back to local-only storage.

8. Troubleshooting

  • If generation or review fails, check Apple Intelligence eligibility and settings.
  • If voice input fails, check microphone and speech recognition permissions.
  • If sync does not work, check the iCloud / CloudKit status shown in Settings.
