本規約は、DevEnglish（以下「本アプリ」）の利用条件を定めるものです。利用者は、本アプリを利用することにより、本規約に同意したものとみなされます。

1. 本アプリの内容

本アプリは、IT エンジニアやソフトウェア開発者向けに、業務シナリオを題材とした英語学習体験を提供します。Today、Pack 詳細、Roleplay、Review、History、Progress、Settings などの機能を通じて、読む、考える、話す、復習する学習を支援します。

2. 利用環境と機能制限

  • 本アプリは iOS / iPadOS 向けです。
  • 教材生成、教材翻訳、Roleplay レビューなどの一部機能は Apple Intelligence への対応を前提とします。
  • 対応端末、OS バージョン、Apple Intelligence の設定状態、iCloud / CloudKit の利用可否、音声認識の権限などにより、一部機能が利用できないことがあります。
  • CloudKit が利用できない場合、本アプリは端末内保存のみで動作することがあります。

3. 学習支援サービスとしての位置づけ

本アプリは英語学習支援を目的とするものであり、専門的な法務、セキュリティ、コンプライアンス、契約、採用、または業務上の意思決定を代行するものではありません。教材やレビューに含まれる内容は学習用の例示であり、利用者は実務で使用する前に自ら確認する責任を負います。

4. AI 生成内容について

本アプリは Apple Intelligence を利用して教材生成、翻訳、レビューを行うことがあります。AI 生成結果には不正確、不完全、不自然な表現が含まれる可能性があります。開発者は、生成内容の完全性、正確性、適法性、特定目的適合性を保証しません。

5. 利用者の責任

  • 利用者は、自身の入力内容、保存内容、書き出した JSON データの取り扱いに責任を負います。
  • 音声入力、通知、同期などの権限や設定は、必要に応じて利用者自身が管理してください。
  • 本アプリや Apple のサービスに過度な負荷を与える行為、不正利用、権利侵害、法令違反行為は禁止します。

6. データ管理

学習データは端末内に保存され、利用可能な環境では Apple の iCloud / CloudKit を通じて同期される場合があります。開発者は独自の学習履歴同期バックエンドを運用しません。データの削除や書き出しは、アプリの Settings から利用できます。

7. サポートと変更

使い方やトラブルシューティングは Help と Support に掲載します。開発者は、本アプリの内容、提供方法、本規約を必要に応じて変更できるものとします。変更後は本ページに掲載した時点で効力を生じます。

8. 知的財産

本アプリ、UI、テキスト、構成、ロゴ、関連ドキュメントに関する権利は、開発者または正当な権利者に帰属します。利用者が本アプリに入力したテキストについては、利用者が自己の責任で管理するものとします。

9. 免責

法令で認められる範囲で、本アプリは現状有姿で提供されます。開発者は、本アプリの継続提供、エラーの不存在、学習成果、特定の英語表現の妥当性、Apple の外部サービスの継続性を保証しません。Apple のサービス停止、通信障害、端末設定、OS 制約などにより機能が制限される場合があります。

These Terms of Use govern the use of DevEnglish (the “App”). By using the App, the user agrees to these Terms.

1. What the App provides

The App provides English learning support for software engineers and IT professionals through realistic workplace scenarios. Features include Today, Pack Detail, Roleplay, Review, History, Progress, and Settings for reading, responding, and repeated practice.

2. Requirements and feature limitations

  • The App is designed for iOS and iPadOS.
  • Some features, including study pack generation, translation, and roleplay review, require Apple Intelligence.
  • Availability depends on device eligibility, OS version, Apple Intelligence settings, iCloud / CloudKit availability, and permission state for speech-related features.
  • If CloudKit is unavailable, the App may operate in local-only mode.

3. Educational scope

The App is intended to support English learning. It does not replace professional legal, security, compliance, hiring, contract, or operational judgment. Learners remain responsible for reviewing any output before using it in real work.

4. AI-generated content

The App may use Apple Intelligence for generation, translation, and review. AI output can be incomplete, inaccurate, or stylistically imperfect. The developer does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, legality, or fitness of generated output for any particular purpose.

5. User responsibilities

  • The user is responsible for the text they enter, the study data they keep, and any JSON export they copy or share.
  • The user manages optional permissions and settings such as microphone, notifications, and sync-related device state.
  • Misuse, unlawful behavior, rights infringement, or attempts to overload or abuse the App or Apple services are prohibited.

6. Data handling

Study data is stored on-device and may sync through Apple’s iCloud / CloudKit when available. The developer does not operate a separate learning-history sync backend. Deletion and JSON export are available from the Settings screen.

7. Support and changes

Usage guidance and troubleshooting are published on the Help and Support pages. The developer may update the App, delivery model, or these Terms when necessary. Updated terms take effect when posted on this page.

8. Intellectual property

Rights in the App, UI, text, structure, logo, and related materials belong to the developer or the applicable rights holder. The user remains responsible for text they choose to enter into the App.

9. Disclaimer

To the extent permitted by law, the App is provided as-is. The developer does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, learning outcomes, or the continuity of Apple-managed services. Device settings, OS limitations, network conditions, and Apple platform availability may affect functionality.
